I have decided for a post with OVB. What convinced me were the future career prospects for a financial service provider as well as the business model that has achieved success in 14 European countries.
A brief look at the current news from the world of finance in the morning before heading off to OVB. Today I accompanied Mr Müller, who is already an experienced financial service provider, on a customer visit and conducted an analysis of this customer’s financial situation. This analysis can then be used to determine the customer’s specific needs for insurance and retirement products.
The first seminar session also takes place at the end of this week. An OVB trainer comes to our branch and shows us how to ‘deal with customers properly on the telephone’. Other seminars then follow on topics such as sales techniques, quality and employee recruitment.
Now all I have to do today is enter the data from the analysis we conducted earlier into the system and then it’s time to go home. That was a not bad start at all for the first day. I’m looking forward to the next and to my further development at OVB.
