OVB increases sales and earnings significantly in the first half of the year

Cologne, 13 August 2026. OVB Holding AG successfully continued its positive business performance in the first half of 2026. Brokerage income rose by 9.3 per cent to Euro 237.8 million (previous year: Euro 217.5 million). This growth was driven by all three regions. OVB thus achieved the highest half-year sales in the Company’s history.

The operating result (EBIT) improved to Euro 5.4 million (previous year: Euro 3.8 million). After non-controlling interests, OVB achieved consolidated net income of Euro 5.8 million. Compared with the prior-year figure, this equals a 96.2 per cent increase. Earnings per share climbed from Euro 0.21 to Euro 0.41.

The number of supported clients as of the 6-month reporting date climbed by 3.9 per cent to 4.99 million. The number of full-time financial advisors was up 3.8 per cent to 6,653.

Performance in the segments 
In the Southern and Western Europe segment, brokerage income rose slightly to Euro 59.6 million (previous year: Euro 59.4 million). EBIT continues to be affected by a one-off effect and stood at Euro -4.0 million (previous year: Euro -2.6 million). In the Germany segment, brokerage income of Euro 29.9 million was slightly above the prior-year level of Euro 29.8 million. Here, poool GmbH contributed its first revenue as an additional distribution channel alongside OVB Deutschland. EBIT for the Germany segment amounted to Euro 1.2 million. The Central and Eastern Europe segment continued its dynamic growth trajectory. Brokerage income gained 15.5 per cent, from Euro 128.3 million in the previous year to Euro 148.2 million. The operating result (EBIT) grew at a faster rate by 28.6 per cent to Euro 14.4 million (previous year: Euro 11.2 million).

Outlook
Despite ongoing geopolitical uncertainties and a macroeconomic environment that remains volatile, OVB is raising its forecast for brokerage income for the full year 2026 to between Euro 450 million and Euro 490 million (previously: Euro 430 million to Euro 470 million; financial year 2025: Euro 437.2 million). The forecast for the operating result (EBIT) remains unchanged within a range of Euro 10 million to Euro 15 million.
